I. Product Overview

100G ZR4 100km is designed for 100km optical communication applications. ETU-LINK's 100G ZR4 100km module adopts 4-channel 25G NRZ wavelength-division multiplexing technology (LWDM4), is a duplex LC optical interface, and is widely used in 100G ZR4 Ethernet links.

Working Principle

100G ZR4 100km optical module contains 4-channel optical transmitter, 4-channel optical receiver and module management block (including 2-wire serial interface). At the transmitter side, the four-channel serial data is recovered by the CDR and passed to the four laser drivers. At the receiving end, the 4-channel optical signals are amplified by SOA and then demultiplexed by an integrated optical demultiplexer. Each optical signal recovery is performed by a PIN detector and finally passed through a transimpedance amplifier and CDR to the CAUI-4 compliant output drivers.
